Hi, I’m Heather! I’ve spent 20 years in the classroom, and right now I teach upper elementary and middle school ESL and work as an instructional coach.

I know what it’s like when a newcomer walks in mid October and you have nothing ready. I know the feeling of building the same vocabulary cards for the third time because nothing out there fits a WIDA 1 sixth grader. So I started making my own. Tiered, simple, and actually usable on a Tuesday.

Then I did something a little brave. I started selling them on TPT. I’m not a top seller looking back from the finish line. I’m building from the middle, in public, while still teaching full time. No sprinting, no summer hustle, and definitely no “quit teaching” plan.
